Monkey Duck is a new site, it aims to provide bands with all of the tools they need to build a complete online presence. Its main features are:

• Friends Feed - See what your friends have added recently, new gigs etc...
• Recommendation System - Get music recommendations based on the types of music you like

• Better Integration of photos, videos and songs within your blog.
• Video, photo and MP3 uploading.
• Daily Charts
• Gig Listing and Searching + Gig Reminder Emails
• Mailing List Management

The site features a number of technologies including ajax, mp3 streaming, video playback, rss and a fully fledged api to read data from the site externally.
